Deep cycle batteries, which are usually used to provide power in marine vessels, yachts, catamarans or boats, can be very costly to replace. Regular cranking batteries are used as engine starters for powered boats, tend to only have a service life of about a year if charged infrequently.
Unknown to many these batteries are subject to sulfation which slowly eats away at its life span cutting it shorter than it was designed for. Sulfation occurs whenever a battery is not being charged, which occurs more frequently then being charged in most cases.
The good news is, sulfation can be remedied with the use of desulfators. Regular desulfation with the 12V or 24V Infinitum Desulfator reverses this process and ensures that these batteries maintain a peak capacity. Desulfation will work on starter batteries as well as AGM batteries.
The Infinitum Desulfator is the perfect marine battery life saver. The unique resin encapsulation of the Infinitum Desulfator’s circuitry within a rock-hard aluminum casing makes it rust-proof, water and heat resistant. Which is ideal for the salty and harsh marine environment.
"One reason your battery desulphators appeal to me is the sealed epoxy encapsulation, protecting it from the wet and salty air of the marine environment."
"After installing the Infinitum desulfators 8 years ago in my yacht I never replaced any batteries any more. The starter battery is already 14 years old and still working perfectly, my service batteries are 8 years old now and I cannot notice any loss of capacity."
